Lush Grease Lightning Spot Treatment
I popped into Lush the other week in search for something to sort out my post-holiday skin. All of the junk food/alcohol at Christmas time really took its toll on my skin, I had such bad breakouts and it just looked really dull. I ended up picking up the Cupcake face mask (review to come soon) and then noticed this spot treatment and thought, why not give it a go too?
Grease Lightening is a gel containing witch hazel, tea tree infusion and a few other ingredients designed to tackle spots and blemishes quickly and effectively. This is amazing!! I've been using it for almost two weeks now and every time I get a spot or see one brewing, I dab this on and when I wake up in the morning its almost completely gone. You can apply this little miracle as often as you like, depending on how nasty the spot is. For small spots they are completely gone in a day and for the bigger ones, give it a couple of days. I've never used a spot treatment that works as well as this, I can't recommend it enough!
Grease Lightning costs £5.65 for 45g, which I think is 100% worth the price. You wont need more than one pump as a little goes a long way. If you suffer from breakouts now and again I definitely recommend you give this a go. Have any of you tried this product?

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
I'm always looking for a good drugstore mascara that I can use everyday and leave my favourite high end one (Dior Show) for more special occasions. My previous favourite, Max Factor Eye Brightening mascara might just have a competitor in Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama.
I first wanted to try this mascara after seeing Tanya Burr use it a lot in her YouTube tutorials, she mentioned it was her favourite drugstore mascara so I was tempted. Then my sister bought it and and suggested I try it because I love the false lash effect - nothing natural on my eyelashes! I finally caved in just before Christmas and bought it when I came across it while browsing in Boots.
Maybelline says: 'False lash glam goes extra black, extra matte. A false lash look, corner-to-corner, no gaps. Extremeley black.'
I love this mascara, it lengthens and thickens my lashes while making them look more defined. I also love how black it is. The 'spoon brush' is excellent for giving my lashes a fanned out effect, I felt that it gave my lashes a curl without having to use my eyelash curler which is a bonus. However, the brush is bigger than I'm used to and the mascara was really wet when I first got it, so I did find that I made a bit of a mess with it sometimes (this gets better once it dries out a bit).
The Falsies costs £7.99 from Boots, which is really reasonable for a good mascara. Overall, I really like this product and think I'll be using it along with my Max Factor one, no more high end mascaras for me right now which will save me money! Have you tried this mascara?
P.S Sorry about the before picture of my eyes, I didn't realise it was blurry until I edited it and had already taken my makeup off.

My 2013 Beauty Wishlist
1. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick - I've been reading Kaushal's blog for a while now and have noticed her mention these lipsticks a few times, they were also in her recent favourites post. They are a super pigmeneted, matte, long lasting lipstick that applies like a gloss and they look absolutely gorgeous so I'm eager to try them.
2. Urban Decay Naked Palette - My sister has the Naked palette, along with everyone else in the blogging world and I love using it. I know that Naked 2 is out now but I think I want to start with the original, so I'm hoping to get this soon. I think it's an essential eye shadow palette and it's long overdue.
3. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - I actually just bought this about two days ago, but I had already made my lovely beauty set! I've only worn it once and so far, so good. I love it's high coverage and the colour is perfect (Cashew Beige).
4. Xen Tan Moroccan Tan - I've always heard great things about Xen Tan and have always wanted to try it so when I seen they had a new tan out containing moroccan oil it went straight on my wishlist. Has anyone tried this?
5. Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume -I've seen a few beauty bloggers talking about this perfume and also had a smell of it at the airport one time. I've decided this is going to be my perfume of 2013 but it seems to be sold out everywhere at the moment! Help?
What's on your 2013 beauty wishlist's?

Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick: Plum
When I was in work one day before Christmas, one of the girls was wearing this lipstick and I had to ask her what it was - it was gorgeous! I've also been loving dark, berry lips this Autumn/Winter, so I went straight to Boots on my lunch break in search of it.
First of all, I absolutely love the black quilted packaging. Black has always been my favourite colour of cosmetics packaging, its just so simple and chic. I also like the fact that the top shows an indication of what colour the lipstick is.
The pigmentation of this lipstick is really strong, one swipe across the lips and its completely opaque with a lovely glossy finish. It's also really moisturising and comfortable to wear throughout the day as it contains moisturisers and antioxidants such as almond oil. When I wear this to work for a full day I'd say I only need to top it up every 3/4 hours, so really once on my lunch break then again before I go home.
I'd definitely say this is one of the best drugstore lipsticks I've purchased and will be buying more shades, especially when it's only £7.99 (almost half the price of a MAC lipstick). Have you tried any of the Revlon ColorBurst lipsticks? What colours do you recommend I try next?
